RESCUE DIVER COURSE + EFR

Introduction

We are offering a package that allows you to complete both the Emergency First Response® (EFR) primary and secondary care training and the Rescue Diver Course.

Please note: A valid EFR training certification (completed within the last 24 months) is required to enroll in the Rescue Diver Course. We also accept equivalent certifications, such as those from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (CPR Training). If you have a valid equivalent certification, you may only need to complete the Rescue Diver course. Please contact us to confirm if your certification qualifies.

This package is divided into two separate sections:

  • EFR Training: PHP 14,000
  • Rescue Diver Course: PHP 28,000

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training

Emergency First Response® primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive. Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.

The Emergency First Response® Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course combines flexible online self-study and in-person training. It’s your course at your pace. Practice a skill until you feel confident before moving on to the next one.

How to become EFR qualified in 2 steps:

Step 1: Independent Study with PADI eLearning EFR

Online training makes it easy to fit a CPR and first aid course into a busy schedule. Watch videos of different first aid techniques and learn what steps to take in an emergency. Study online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor if you have questions.
  • eLearning time commitment: 2-4 hours

Step 2: At the Dive Shop With Your Instructor

Learn eight essential skills for helping others in an emergency. Get hands-on experience administering CPR using a special manikin, practice bandaging and splinting, and apply your new skills in a role-playing scenario.
  • Prerequisites: Desire to help others
  • Total time commitment: 4-8 hours
  • Minimum age: None

PADI® Rescue Diver course

The PADI® Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence and have serious fun along the way. Discover why countless divers say Rescue Diver is their favorite scuba course.

How to become a Rescue Diver in 2 steps:

Step 1: Independent Study with PADI eLearning Rescue Diver

Online learning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Complete the knowledge development section of your course whenever, wherever it’s convenient for you. Work at your own pace, online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor for inwater training, or whenever you have a question.

  • eLearning time commitment: 8-12 hours

Step 2: At the Dive Shop With Your Instructor

The water training sessions are serious fun. You’ll practice handling scenarios such as a leg cramp and assisting a tired diver by role-playing with other students and your instructor.
  • Prerequisites: Adventure Diver/Junior Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification) with completed Underwater Navigation Dive; EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months
  • Total time commitment: 4-7 days
  • Minimum age: 12 years or older

Take This Course If You Want to Be a better dive buddy, Improve your navigation skills and Enroll in a divemaster course. Learn How to Help other divers, Fix minor gear issues and Use an emergency oxygen kit. If you are already EFR (Emergency First Response) certified or equivalent, you only need to proceed with the RESCUE course (PHP30,000).
